Information We Collect

RaceMatcher does not require user accounts or collect personal information. When you search for races, the search criteria you enter (distance, finish time, age, gender, location) are used only to process your request and are not stored or associated with any personal identifier.

Race Data

Race results displayed on this site are sourced from publicly available data provided by RunSignUp. This data includes publicly posted race results such as finish times, placement, age, and gender as reported by race organizers.

Affiliate Links

When you click “View on RunSignUp” links, we may earn a referral commission from RunSignUp. We track clicks (not personal identity) to measure the effectiveness of our service.

Analytics

We use the following analytics services to understand how the site is used and improve your experience:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general device/browser information. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• PostHog — collects product analytics events such as searches performed, race cards clicked, and registration link clicks. PostHog does not collect personally identifiable information. Events are associated with anonymous session identifiers only.
• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights — collects anonymized performance metrics (page load times, web vitals) and basic traffic data. No cookies are used and no personal data is collected.

None of these services collect your name, email address, or any information you enter into search forms. Search criteria (distance, finish time, age, gender) are sent as anonymous event properties solely to improve race matching quality.
