2.2 for 22 Challenge for Veterans at Las Positas College

THE 2026 2.2 FOR 22 CHALLENGE FOR VETERANS ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. If you cannot attend, please consider making a donation to support the Veterans First Program. This event is "in person" to be held at the Las Positas College on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm. Registration opens at 8:30 am. Opening Ceremony at 9 am with the National Anthem. If you did not register, but still interested in participating, there is an on-site registration/donation fee of $22. Please arrive between 8-8:30 to register in person at LPC. Free Parking. (Make your $22 donation here - show attendant your receipt.) The primary objective of the 2.2 for 22 Challenge for Veterans is to raise awareness about veteran suicide and to help prevent it—highlighting the tragic reality that an estimated 22 veterans take their own lives each day. Event organizers strongly encourage participants to complete as many challenges as they can or even attempt all of them. Participants are also welcome to join or create teams to enjoy the event together. Participants are encouraged to share pictures of themselves taking on the challenges using the hashtag #CHALLENGE22FORVETERANS The entire event will be held "in person," featuring a new obstacle course challenge that will test participants’ physical, social, and emotional capabilities.
