30th Annual Mosquito Lake Chase

30th Annual Mosquito Lake Chase 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Maplewood High School - Mecca, OH 9:00 am-Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, 2026 Proceeds from the Mosquito Lake Chase are dedicated to the Oscar Grant Scholarship Fund and other Maplewood Running Rockets activities. Oscar Grant was a teacher, coach, official, WWII Veteran, and friend of all that met him. Entry Fee: $22 fee for pre-registered runners, the race day entry fee is $25. Shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registrants. Online Registration and more race information visit Online Registration . Online registration will close at midnight on Friday, May 22nd, 2026 Both races start at 9:00 am. Packet pick-up and day-of-race registration will be held at Maplewood High School located just east of Mecca Circle on Route 88. Day-of-race registration begins at 7:30 am. Prize money awards will be presented in the 5K to the top 3 male and female finishers overall: $75, $50, and $25. Awards will also be presented to the top 3 finishers of the 5K and the first finisher of the mile in each of these age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over, male and female.
