3rd Annual Equal Footing 5k Hosted by Let's Include Landon® In Support of Disability Inclusion Saturday, June 13, 2026 - Park gates open at 8:15AM; Run starts at 9AM Marvin Efird Park - 8909 New Town Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173 ***You have the option to pick up your shirt/bib on June 10th from 3:00-6:00PM at Charlotte Running Company (Promenade) - 5355 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy #200*** This 5K is a chance to show our community - and beyond - that inclusion isn't optional, it's essential. That friendships of all abilities matter. That every child deserves a place to belong. 5K through wooded/shaded trails Paint part of our Community Mural Charlottetown Hops FC autographs and photo op Bring and trade friendship bracelets Hydration station Face paint Balloon art Ice cream Fire truck visit Medals Prizes - top 3 male and female racers Prizes - best decade outfits Prizes - most players registered from a sports team or league Partner tables Silent auction Let's Include Landon® offers opportunities for kids with and without disabilities / neurodiversities / developmental delays to play sports together . We host sports clinics for basketball, soccer, tennis, and swimming. We host events such as our Annual 5K, Share the Love Concert, Charlottetown Hops FC Night, and the Charlotte Knights Community Corner. We participate in local parades and visit after school programs, local Girl Scout and Cub Scout Troops, and local run clubs, to bring the community together and grow awareness and acceptance for disability inclusion . Let's Include Landon® started with one simple hope: that every child - no matter their abilities - feels seen, included, and truly connected . What we've built so far is powered by love, by belief, and by the people who have stood by us. We have our inclusive basketball camp coming up June 29-July 2.
