Race day registration will be available on the morning of the race as well! ***Please note that all registrations and donations are final and non-refundable.*** 44th Annual Roosa Gap Roller Coaster Runs: 11.8 mile Run & 5K Run/Walk in Wurtsboro, NY. The Roller Coaster Run is a challenging 11.8 mile run starting at the First Aid Squad building, heading up the mountain towards Bloomingburg, around the hairpin, and at the top, make the left onto Shawanga Lodge Road, and then out towards the firetower. It will go out, turn around, and come back along the same course, back to the finish line. The 5K Run/Walk is a beautiful, scenic, flat, out and back along the serene & historic D&H Canal Tow Path. ***Please note that due to continued drainage issues, the long run race with be the altered road route as it has been for the last few years, not the trail run as in years past. This decision is made for the safety of the competitors.*** The race is graciously hosted at the location of The Mamakating First Aid and Rescue Squad. Come to run or walk and see our beautiful valley, be a part of our local history, both past and present. Proceeds from the race benefit the PFC Jerry B. Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund. Honoring our past to help our future. All registrations and donations are final and non-refundable; including but not limited to injury or illness.
