$5 5K for The Mustard Seed

The $5 5K for August benefits The Mustard Seed! The Mustard Seed is a Christian community for adults with developmental disabilities. The Mustard Seed exists to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of adults with developmental disabilities by providing a loving, protected Christian community where meaningful activities empower each participant to reach the unique potential God has created within them. Founded in 1981, what began as a dream shared by a group of families who had a need for a ministry serving adults with developmental disabilities has grown into a thriving community. Today, The Mustard Seed proudly serves more than 40 remarkable individuals, affectionately known as “Seedsters”; fostering an environment where they are valued, encouraged, and empowered to live meaningful, purpose-filled lives. You can find more information at mustardseedms.org! SO, grab $5 and your friends and come walk or run a no pressure 5K (3.1 miles)! ALL PROCEEDS will go straight to The Mustard Seed! If you don’t want to do the whole 5K, you can turn around and head back at any point. You can even just come for support and don’t have to walk a step! As always, walk up registration will be available at the event!
