Welcome to the AdventHealth Reindeer Dash 5K presented by LiveTrends Design Group — a festive, high-energy race that brings the heart of the running community to the streets of Howey-in-the-Hills. This beloved hometown event is more than just a race; it’s a celebration of movement, community, and giving back. Each year, runners and walkers of all ages come together to kick off the holiday season while supporting the town that graciously hosts us. As the grand finale of the FloDash race season, the Reindeer Dash is a meaningful way to close out the year — surrounded by cheering spectators, festive spirit, and familiar faces who return year after year. From first-timers to seasoned racers, participants love the welcoming atmosphere, well-marked course, and the joy of finishing strong alongside friends and family. This event is made possible through the incredible support of our partners, volunteers, and local leaders. We are proud to work alongside AdventHealth, LiveTrends Design Group, the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills, local law enforcement, and our finish-line beverage sponsor JB Boondocks. Most of all, we are grateful for our volunteers — the true magic makers — who bring this event to life and help us give back to the community in a meaningful way. Join us and be part of a race that feels like home. ‍♀️‍♂️ All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage. All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy. If you want to pace a child, spouse or friend, you MUST register as well. BANDIT AND PACING RULES Participant donations along with part of the proceeds from the race will go to the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills to help local non profit organizations like the local food pantry.
