ASHRAE: Run for Research 5K

Join ASHRAE National Capital Chapter for the Run for Research 5K on Sunday, June 14 in Fairfax, Virginia. ASHRAE is the international society of heating, refrigerating, and air-conditioning professionals. Founded in 1894, ASHRAE is dedicated to advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and sustainability within the industry. Through research, standards writing, publishing, and continuing education, ASHRAE shapes tomorrow's built environment today. Their vision is of a "healthy and sustainable environment for all." ASHRAE invites members of the community to run or walk with members and volunteers of the local chapter of ASHRAE. All proceeds will help to directly support the chapter's contribution to ASHRAE research. All registrants must register online. Packet pick up will be at the BURKE =PR= Run and Walk store (5715 Burke Centre Pkwy, Burke, VA 22015) on Saturday, June 13, from 12:00-3:00 pm, and then at the Fairfax Corner Plaza on race day starting at 7:00 am.
