Bedford Veterans Center 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Walk

Run/walk details- Wednesday evening, June 24th Bedford Community Stadium 8285 Jackman Rd. Temperance MI 6:30-5k run/walk start 6:35- 1 mile walk (on track, 5k race finishers will end on track so we will ask walkers to remain on outside lanes after 6:50). ****There is race day registration until 6:00 but please register now so we can plan! No shirt guaranteed after June 10th! *Sign up by Sunday, June 10th for guaranteed shirt* *** No charge race registration for VETERANS/Active Duty ! Please enter code: USA for the veteran-service member only, register others separately. Not only is it a free entry but we will use this list to honor them. If you can email us your branch of service- that would be awesome!!! FIND THE FLAGS (5K course)~Multiple flags will be on the course, grab one and race or walk back with it to the finish line for a chance to win prizes! Speed has nothing to do with your chances, just LUCK ! 5k will be timed and age group gift card awards! The 5k course will not only have a crowd-friendly finish on the Bedford High School track, but the 1mile walk is exclusively on the TRACK. The 5k course includes the Indian Creek Park, gravel, but no street crossings. The Bedford Community Stadium bathroom facilities will be available throughout the event. Our mission for this race is to create awareness of our volunteer Veteran services and increase our reach to support more local veterans and their families!
