The Big Red Apple 5K, presented by First Baptist Church of Cornelia , begins and ends at the Big Red Apple monument and the course goes through the Cornelia City Park. Participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and official race timing. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner, as well as age group category winners. *You must be registered by Sept. 12th to be guaranteed a shirt. All those registering through race day will receive shirts while supplies last. Packet pick-up will begin at 7:45AM on race morning. For the 5K, awards will be given to Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female. Age group awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place beginning with 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc. up to 80 and over. Age group winners will be given a pin for their medal ribbons. For the 1 Mile, medals will be given to Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female.
