The Big Tooth Sweet Tooth is a 1k race for the kids and a 5k race for anybody else that wants to take on the challenge. The course is located in Woodland Trails Park in Elk River MN, right next to the Elk River Country Club. Both races will take place within the park. The 1k race with be all on pavement while the 5k will be on some pavement and also grass trails. The course contains straight, flat parts along with steep winding parts. This is not your average race! It is pretty challenging to say the least, but also a very fun one at that! -The top runners in each age group receive custom awards. -Proceeds benefit the Elk River Cross Country Running Program and Scholarship Fund.
