Join us on the Brooks Century on Saturday, May 16th. This is our third annual charity ride conducted by the SouthSide Cycling Club to benefit local youth cycling teams and community bike projects. DESCRIPTION: Your Century ride will travel on low-speed roads in Fayette County from Brooks, Georgia past historic farms in Woolsey and Inman, North Fayetteville to the Piedmont Fayette Wellness Center in Trilith Village - the home of Trilith Studio . The ride continues through Tyrone to Peachtree City, returning to Trilith and Brooks. Century riders after a Brooks Rest stop will continue onward to finish their ride back at Brooks. Your shorter rides around Brooks will be on low country with smaller rolling terrain - cross the Flint River and roll past scenic pastures and forested roads. This well-marked ride is fully supported with parking, registration, cue sheets, and three SAG (Support and Gear) Rest Stops with food & on-site mechanical services sponsored by Atlanta Trek, Pedego Peachtree City, Senoia Bicycle and the Trilith Bike Experience . Steel Heritage Ride - riders of vintage bicycles are invited to participate. There will be a special, covered display area to show off the vintage steeds when you return from your ride to socialize, assisted by Peachtree State Classic Cycling . E-Bikes Class I-II-III - Yes, you are welcome to participate too. DURING THE RIDE: Family members and friends can Shop the adjacent downtown Brooks Farmers Market will be open from 9am to 1pm. Explore the Town at Trilith and cheer on riders at Rest Stop #2. POST RIDE: After your ride, enjoy a hot lunch of a classic Greek Gyro [Lamb & Beef, Chicken or Falafel (V) options] with Greek potatoes onsite by The Mad Greek which is included with your registration. Stay a while and cheer your friends on to their finish. There is plenty of space for team tent set-up.
