Build-N-Athlete 10K, 5K, & Kids Fun Run

The Build-N-Athlete 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to empower young athletes and break down financial barriers to youth sports. All proceeds from this event directly support Build-N-Athlete, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing sports equipment to children in need throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Set for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, the Build-N-Athlete race returns for its second year along the scenic Lackawanna River Heritage Trail. After a successful inaugural event, runners once again have the opportunity to take on the fast and scenic 5K or 10K courses, while walkers can participate at their own pace. Whether you're chasing a personal record, looking for a fun community event, or running to support youth athletes, this race offers something for everyone.
