Welcome to the cmX 5K hosted by the CMAA Southern California Chapter Foundation . Due to the popularity of our event, we have outgrown our previous location and have happily moved to an exciting new start line for 2027! Shoreline Aquatic Park 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802 Join us on Saturday, February 20th on the water front, behind the aquarium, in Long Beach, California (or virtually). Join us for an exhilarating run through the marina and along the shore with views of the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California. Whether you're up for a 5k or the Kids Run, this event promises a memorable experience amidst the natural beauty of the shoreline. Event Details: Avoid lines on race day and pick up your bib and shirt on Friday February 19th at Sports Basement in Long Beach from 4pm to 6pm Race Day Schedule: Bib Pickup: Starts at 7 am Race Start Times: 5k: 8:30 am Kids Dash: 10:00 am Parking Available a short walk away at the multi-level aquarium parking lot. Course Map: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/6274860286/ Course Description: The race starts and ends behind the aquarium, next to Pierpont Landing. 5k runners will follow the scenic path around along the marina, through Shoreline Village and out along the jetty where you will have a majestic view of the Queen Mary before heading back to the start. Water station will be at the entrance to the jetty and you can stop here twice during the run/walk if you need to.
