October 17, 2026 | Assateague State Park | Registration – 8am | Race Start – 9am Beachwood, Inc. Custom Builders presents the Assateague Coastal Walk (sponsored by Assateague State Park & MD Park Services) benefiting Coastal Hospice. Participants can choose to compete (or not) in a 2 mile walk or 5K timed run at this year’s event on Saturday, October 17th at Assateague State Park (campground – day use – 6915 Stephen Decatur Hwy, Berlin, MD). Arrive at 8 am for registration/check-in, refreshments, and music with a 9 am Start. Registration includes a dri-fit, t-shirt, and medals will be awarded to the placing participants in each of the categories following the race. Registration for this event is $35 per participant with sponsorship opportunities available. The walk will stay on the paved trail leading back to the Assateague State Park Campgrounds.
