Join us for the Cole Borges Moon and Stars 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run Location: Mere Sports Complex 3625 Caverns Road Marianna, FL 32446 About the Event The Cole Borges Memorial Scholarship Fund invites you to join us for the Cole Borges Moon & Stars 5K Run/Walk, an evening dedicated to honoring Cole’s memory while helping students pursue their educational dreams. Event Schedule 6:30 PM – Registration 7:30 PM – 5K Run/Walk Begins Registration Fees $35 – Registration through August 31, 2026 (Includes an event t-shirt with pre-registration) $40 – Registration beginning September 1, 2026 through race day Important: Race shirts are guaranteed only to participants who register by August 31, 2026. A limited number of additional shirts may be available on race day while supplies last. Food trucks and vendors will be on site throughout the event. Glen, Coles father, and our sons Jon-Alan and Alex, and I would like to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share Cole’s story and the purpose behind the scholarship fund established in his memory. Cole, passed away in January 2023. He was 15 years old, a sophomore at Marianna High School, and enrolled in honors classes. Cole had been a dedicated cross-country runner since sixth grade and developed a passion for soccer during high school, playing on the JV team during both his freshman and sophomore years. Cole was an extraordinary young man. He touched countless lives through his kindness, compassion, and generosity. He was a goal-setter, a loyal friend, and someone who always looked for ways to help others.
