Race is happening on a Thursday afternoon The Splash and Dash Race is an aquathon consisting of a 1.5km (1-mile) swim and a 5km (3.2-mile) run for adults. And 200m swim with a 2km run for the youth category ( 11-15 ). It is a fun, community focused, grassroots event. There are timing chips, transition is not fenced in with guards, and spectators, kids and dogs are encouraged. The swim is in Stevens Creek Reservoir right outside of Cupertino, CA. The run is on Stevens Creek Canyon park trails. It is a great way to get an intense effort with two disciplines, or a great way to get open water swimming practice.

Designated parking is located at Stevens Creek Chestnut Parking Lot and Villa Maria parking lot in the Stevens Creek county park. All participants are required to pay for parking if they park their car within the park. Pay station is located by the entrance/main parking lot If you are from the nearby area we recommend to getting dropped off by your family, to bike or Uber to the venue, which saves some spots for people from outside the area, and lessens the impact on the park.
