Presents: 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos 5K Walk & Run Join Adelante, Inc. for our 3rd Annual Día de los Muertos 5K Walk & Run—a vibrant, community-centered event that honors culture, remembrance, and wellness in Northwest Indiana. Held at beautiful Wicker Memorial Park, this timed 5K brings together runners, walkers, families, and community members to celebrate Día de los Muertos—a tradition that honors loved ones who have passed while embracing life, legacy, and connection. Whether you are running in memory of someone special, supporting the community, or simply enjoying a meaningful and energetic event, all are welcome—including your furry friends!  Race Date: November 1, 2026  Location: Wicker Memorial Park, Highland, IN ⏰ Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30 AM at the Pavilion  This is a professionally timed race  Race Day Experience This is more than a race—it’s a full cultural celebration! Participants will enjoy:  Zumba warm-up session to get energized before the race  Live DJ bringing music and energy throughout the event  Aztec ceremonial dancers to open the race with a powerful cultural experience  About Adelante, Inc. Adelante, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and uplifting the Latino community in Northwest Indiana through advocacy, programming, and community engagement.
