Our daughter Syd was diagnosed with brain cancer at 20, and this journey has changed us in every possible way. It’s been hard, emotional, and humbling — but also filled with moments where God made His presence unmistakable. Through prayers, songs, encouraging words, and people who showed up at exactly the right time, we were carried. God led us to UW–Madison’s Carbone Cancer Center, where some of the most gifted physicians in the country used their God‑given talents to guide Syd through two brain surgeries (one awake), 18 days of full‑brain radiation, and a year of chemotherapy. Dr. Ahmed, Dr. Howard, Dr. Bhatia, and their teams have been nothing short of extraordinary. We believe the breakthrough in brain cancer research is close — and it could happen right here at UW–Madison. They need support to keep pushing forward. If one million people gave just $1, imagine the impact. One dollar, one share, one moment of generosity multiplied by a million hearts. Please consider giving $1 and sharing this site. Hope grows when we pass it on.
