About the Dash for Dysphagia How are you going to #Dash4Dysphagia this year? Will you be walking, running, biking, swimming, roller-skating, dancing or doing something else? The DRS Dash for Dysphagia is a fun way for friends and colleagues around the world to join together in support of research, education, and professional development in the field of dysphagia. This VIRTUAL event will help raise funds to support the DRS Research Career Development (RCD) Program and contribute to future scholarships and grant opportunities for our members. Registration $50 ($25 for trainees) How to Participate Participants can choose to participate at anytime and anywhere during the week of June 7-14 . You can ask others to support you or your team! To participate as part of a team, you can create a team or join an existing team at sign-up. This option will be available after you have chosen which level to participate at (Trainee, Regular, or Industry). You should then select "Become a Fundraiser" (dark blue button) or select "Dash Team" to find a team that has already been formed. Make sure to share your story as to why you are participating in Dash for Dysphagia. If you are creating a team, please consider including the following information: A creative and fun team name A photo of your lab or clinic team A short description of your lab/clinic and your primary areas of research/clinical practice The team motivation for participating in the event Don't forget to take photos before, during, and after your dash and share them on social media using the hashtag #Dash4Dysphagia and tagging DRS ( Facebook: @DysphagiaResearchSociety; Twitter: @Official_DRS; Instagram: @dysphagiaresearch ) or send us your photos at drs@affinity-strategies.com! We encourage you to post photos of you and/or your team members preparing for the event as well.
