Family & Community Services of Somerset County "Taking Strides Towards Wellness" 5k Run/Walk

General Race Information Our 14th Annual “Taking Strides Towards Wellness" 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 10th at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater. YOU CAN SHOW UP THE DAY OF THE 5K AND REGISTER! Online registration ends on the 9th. This race is on an extremely flat paved wooded trail that parallels the Raritan River. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers overall for each gender as well as the top 3 per age group. Age groups will be 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. Registration Information Registration and Packet Pick up will start at 8 AM, with the 5K Run/Walk starting at 9 AM and Award Ceremony at 10:30 AM. Free T-Shirt to ALL pre-registrants who register by September 12, 2026. Race Sign-up Incentives: If a paid participant donates or gets donations equal to or greater than $125, he/she will be refunded his/her $25 registration fee. If a paid participant gets 4 other people to register and pay for this event, he/she will be refunded his/her $25 registration fee.
