The Kiwanis Club of Galena is hosting its 7th annual River Trail Run, April 18, 2026. This year funds will be used to develop grants that will be awarded to organizations that support the children of the Galena community. Additional information for the grant application can be found on the Galena Kiwanis website; Kiwanisclubofgalena.com 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) Start Time: 10 a.m 10K Run (6.2 miles) Start Time: 10:10 a.m. Registration for 5k/10k: November 17, 2025 - December 31, 2025 $35 Jan 1, 2026.- February 28, 2026 $40 March 1, 2026 - April 17, 2026 $45 Day of Race: $50 (April 18, 2026) On-line registration closes on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at midnight. All participants will receive a t-shirt, but we can’t guarantee t-shirts for registration after April 6, 2026. ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS!
All registered participants receive a racing shirt, bib numbers, and pins. There will be prizes for the overall winners (male and female) in each race, as well as age-group winners for each race. Participants can pick up their race packets (t-shirts, chips, race information, etc.) on Friday, April 17, from 4-6:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 18, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. There will be a tent under the bridge for the pick- up at Depot Park. Participants must be registered by April 6, to guarantee a t-shirt.
