GenX "Live Virtual" 5k/10k

To celebrate GenX, the generation of "come home when the streetlights come on", Pac-Man, resourcefulness, independence, boomboxes, lawn darts, drinking from the garden hose, wine coolers, big hair, the best music, and a "whatever, we don't care attitude", Relevant Running brings you another of our signature "live virtual" 5k/10k races with a unique and relevant theme! Join us on Saturday April 10th 2027 for the 3rd annual GenX "LIVE VIRTUAL" 5K/10K. This is no ordinary virtual run. It's a unique virtual running event, with tens of thousands of runners and walkers who have already experienced and love our unique "live virtual" race format. Among other things, there is a scheduled race date and start time (Saturday April 10th 2027 at 8am Eastern time USA), a virtual check in and start via text or Facebook live-stream on race day morning, timekeeping (runners will text screenshots or pictures of their chosen method of time and distance keeping), a private and active Facebook group dedicated to our live virtual runners/walkers, and age group winners. Please note, Facebook is NOT required to participate. You can use text to communicate as well. All participants will receive the one of a kind custom GenX 5K/10K medal (scroll down for pics). ******* If you cannot or do not wish participate on the scheduled race date of April 10th 2027 during the race window (7am to 11am Eastern time USA on race day), you can absolutely still register.
