Jodi's Sparkle Sprint isn’t your average run — it’s a joy-filled, costume-wearing, laughter-powered celebration of a woman who dedicated her life to making kids feel safe, seen, and special. Whether you sprint, stroll, roll, or strut, you're invited to join this unforgettable day of movement, memories, and maximum sparkle.  WHAT TO EXPECT: Costumes welcome and encouraged! Dress up like your favorite camp counselor, childhood hero, animal, or walking disco ball. The sillier, the better. (Yes, we want to see a pack of glittery flamingos jog by.) “Jodi Stations” along the course with bubbles, high-fives, impromptu dance-offs, and cheesy camp chants. Finish line festivities including music, popsicles, goofy awards like “Most Spirited Sprinter” and “Sassiest Shuffle.”  WHY WE RUN: We run to remember Jodi Ackerman — a mentor, friend, and force of joy who led with heart and made summer magic happen year after year. All proceeds support training and recognition for the camp and after-school leaders who carry on her legacy — the young adults who make sure every child has a safe, fun, and empowering experience.
