Join JOURNEYS | The Road Home for our 13th Annual 5K! SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2026 | 8:30 AM DEER GROVE EAST 1599 PEPPERTREE DR, PALATINE More than just a race, the JOURNEYS 5k is a family fun event that benefits people facing homelessness and housing insecurity in the north and northwest suburbs of Cook County. Dogs are welcomed as long as they are on a leash! NOTE: Registrations after 06/01/26 are not guaranteed a shirt.
An overall finisher medal will be given to all runners. A certificate will be given to Overall Fastest Finisher - Male and Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place certificates will be awarded in the following age groups for both male and female: 14 and Under 15-19 20-29 30-39 40-49 50-59 60-60 70 and over Award ceremony will begin after the race is complete.
The top individual and top team fundraisers of the 2026 JOURNEYS 5K, across all events, will be rewarded for their efforts with a super special superhero prize! PLUS they will have their name displayed on the homepage of our JOURNEYS 5K website! You don't have to participate in the race to be a fundraising superhero!
