Juneteenth 2-mile Challenge Run 1 Mile Health Walk and Children's Fun Run Saturday June 6, 2026 9:00 am to 1:00pm Behind the Buffalo Museum of Science on Martin Luther King Jr. parkway. Juneteenth of Buffalo is approaching a major milestone, a half century of celebrating freedom, resilience, and the rich cultural heritage of Buffalo’s Black community. ​As we approach this historic weekend, we will not forget the deep roots in Buffalo—born from the efforts of dedicated community leaders, artists, and activists who saw the importance of commemorating Juneteenth not just as a moment in history but as a living, evolving testament to Black excellence and unity.
