Just a Pair of Shoes Run/Walk 5K to Empower Kids

Come join us on Saturday, May 9th 2026 for Just a Pair of Shoes' 4th Annual 5K run or walk to spread awareness and raise money for kids in the Dayton area. Runner check in and day-of registration will begin at 9:30AM and conclude at 10:45AM. The check-in will be inside Southern Ohio Brewery. 100% of race proceeds will impact kids in the local area. The course is on the Beavercreek bike path. Top male and female runners will receive a custom one of a kind trophy in each age group. This will be a professionally timed course that is anticipated to yield fast results. Following the race, please join us as a community at Southern Ohio Brewing, a portion of every beverage purchased will be donated to Just a Pair of Shoes! While runners wait for others to finish, there will be a food truck available for purchase and you can purchase raffle tickets for prizes! Parking will be at the Brewery, the park next to it, and a large lot two doors down from the brewery. ( we will have signs and people volunteering to show you where to park) Registration Fee: $30.00, $35.00 after 15 April 2026. $20.00, $25.00 after 15 April 2026 for 18 & under * Discounted pricing will be applied automatically based on participants birthday. Each participant will receive a long sleeve shirt. T-Shirts: Size Options Youth S - Youth XL Adult S - Adult 3XL Participants will not receive a shirt if they register after April 30th 2026 Awards: The 1st Place Male & Female participant in the following age categories will receive a custom handcrafted trophy. 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79.
