This race is apart of the KC Summer Series, by Easy Ten. The Mills is a short distance point to point race that finishes up a hill just short of 1200 meters. There is a total of 100 feet of elevation gain in that 1200 meter span and over half of it occurs in the last 400 meters.

There are a few good areas to park. Of course you can park at Verhaeghe Park, right by where the race will start, however that may get full pretty quick. Up the road to the north is Timber Creek Elementary School. That parking lot will be closest. 16451 Flint St, Overland Park, KS 66221 If for some reason that lot is full, BVSW High School is at the top of the route, and there will be adequate parking. Only park there if the other two lots are full.
