The 44th Annual Newtown 5K Saturday, August 8, 2026 8:30 am Newtown, OH Please join us for the 44th Annual Newtown 5K! Please bring a canned-good or non-perishable item to help stock the food pantry at IPM (Inter-Parish Ministries). Thanks! Location: Moundview Park, 3130 Newtown Road, Newtown, OH. Organized by Turpin Cross Country, https://newtown5krun.com Course: 3.1 miles over residential streets. Relatively flat. Splits at every mile. First aid and water on the course. Begins and ends at Moundview Park. Scroll down for course map. Divisions: Male and female runners divisions for the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over Male and female walkers divisions for the following age groups: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. Walkers will have a separate start. Note: If you sign up as a walker, you must start with the walkers and you must walk the entire distance (No running allowed). Corporate Team Competition: A separate award will be given for corporate team competition. Top 3 finishers will score. Based on Total Team time A corporate team sponsorship of $200 will cover a maximum of seven runners including T-Shirts. Returning for 2025 - School Team Competition: Represent your school. Top 5 finishers will score. Based on Total Team time. Awards: Special awards to overall male and female runner and walker, and first Newtown male and female runner and walker. Age group awards to the top male and female finishers in all run and walk divisions.
