North Penn IronKnights Kids Triathlon Training Program

This program is designed to help your child be ready and complete the North Penn IronKnights Triathlon. PLEASE NOTE ALL PARTICPANTS MUST BE NORTH PENN SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS, YOUR CHILD MUST BE ATTENDING A NORTH PENN SCHOOL. Also note this program does not include the race. It is for the training program only. This program is designed to help prepare your child for the biking and running portion of the race. It is not designed to help your child win. It is a skills based training program that helps kids become more comfortable on the bike and build endurance for running. This program does not include swimming. There will be swim practices that will be held at the high school to help your child prepare for the swim, those are under the direction of the North Penn School District and information will be communicated from them. Tuesaday Program - Grades K-2 ONLY Location - North Wales Elementary April 14th April 21st April 28th May 5th May 12th - Transition Practice - NOTE this is a TUESDAY and the Location is Gwynedd Square Wednesday Program Program - GRADES 3-6 ONLY Location: Gwynedd Square Gwynedd Square Dates April 15th April 22nd April 29th May 6th May 12th -Transition Practice - NOTE this is a TUESDAY Thursday Program - Grades K-2 ONLY Location: Walton Farm April 16th April 23rd April 30th May 7th May 12th Transition Practice - NOTE this is a TUESDAY and the Location is Gwynedd Square Sessions will run from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM. The first four sessions are planned as bike/run sessions. On the final evening, we will do a transition clinic with set-up and race practice. You are responsible for bringing your child's bike, bike helmet, sneakers, and a water bottle. Please note that bikes must be in working condition and the tires pumped prior to class arrival. We will do our best to hold each session. Please understand if there is inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel the session and there may not be a make-up class.
