We are really excited!! We have brought back the great event from last year and have made it even better!! We have added an additional distance to chose from: an 8K!! ...and of course, Oktoberfest wouldn't be complete without some bier! Enjoy one of two race distances around Riverside Park. The routes will be a closed course on the beautiful paths. Participants will receive a tech shirt, finishers medal free entry into the festival, and a free bier or wine! Register for this challenge which includes the Grand Rapids 5K on September 26 as well as the Lansing Oktoberfest 5K on September 12, and earn a special medal. That's 3 medals!! Age Groups: 0-16 17-26 27-36 37-46 47-56 57-66 67+ Top 5 finishers will receive a prize. Overall male and female will receive a trophy. (These two amazing speedsters will be their own category and not a part of the age group awards.)
