Join us for our 4th Annual Pomona Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon! This event will take place on Sunday, June 14th at the lake in the front of the Pomona Subdivision, Manvel, Texas. Pomona is 8 minutes from our old location straight down Kingsley (Cnty Rd 48) or 288 to the Pomona exit. Since July has repeatedly been so hot, moving it to June should help with the help a little. The Pomona Tri/Du offers a 500 meter lake swim followed by a 12.5 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run; duathlon athletes will do a half mile run vs the swim. The bike is now a one loop course followed by a run through the Pomona neighborhood ending at the Grove located at 4214 Croix Pkwy., right off Pomona Pkwy. Parking for this event to be announced.
Overall top male and female, overall top master’s male and female will receive medals. Top 3 in age groups and relay teams (All women, all men, and mixed) will receive medals. Age groups are 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 Plus. Clydesdale (220lbs & Over) 39 and Under & 40 and Over. Athena (165lbs & Over) 39 and Under & 40 and Over will also receive a medal. All athletes will receive a shirt, finisher medal,
