Roughneck Gravel Roubaix

All Races will be started on a gun time, meaning each person will be given the same start time. While you will cross a timing mat at the start, this is for participant tracking only. All participants will receive a custom finishers medal upon completion. We reserve the right to combine categories if at least 10 participants are not in a given category. Come join us in the Valley that changed the world! Titusville is home of the Modern Production Oil Well, Drake Well. On every route, you will get to experience some of the same gravel roads that the Roughnecks working in the oil fields experienced then and now! We will again start at the Titusville Ironworks. From here, all 6 unique routes will roll out of Titusville with a police escort, It will be less than one mile until you are on the gravel. All of the routes will boast an 80% or more gravel-to-pavement ratio, traveling some very remote dirt roads. Where likely the most traffic you will see will be the wildlife. Every route will travel past historic oil sites, abandoned oil wells, and other unique vistas in the area.
