2026 Run For Life – Porterville Join the Exchange Club of Porterville for the Annual Run For Life at Granite Hills High School—an event that brings our community together in hope, remembrance, and support. Proceeds from this meaningful event benefit the Roger S. Good Cancer Treatment Center at Sierra View Medical Center, helping fund vital programs such as cancer support groups, annual prostate screenings, survivor celebrations, health fairs, community outreach initiatives, and essential educational resources for patients and families. This event is more than a run—it’s a tribute. Together, we honor the strength of those currently battling cancer and remember the lives of those we’ve lost. 2026 Honorees This year, we proudly recognize and honor: Gail Grasmick Maria Pedraza Lino Padilla Sr. Dr. Joe Santos ♀️ Event Highlights Kick off the morning with an energizing warm-up led by Ashlei Esparza, owner and personal trainer at Optimal Training Health & Fitness. As participants cross the finish line, the celebration continues with pancakes and refreshing beverages provided by the Porterville Runners Club and Friends of Run For Life. Registration Includes Short-sleeve event t-shirt* Finisher’s medal* Awards Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male and Female finishers in both the run and walk in the following age groups: 1–12, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80+ Special awards will also be presented to the 1st Overall Male and Female Finishers ❤️ Be Part of Something Bigger Whether you’re running, walking, cheering from the sidelines, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, Run For Life is a powerful reminder of what a community can do when it comes together. A road closure has been scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026, commencing at 7:00 AM until 10:00 am for the run and festivities. Street closed to traffic: Putnam – from the Conner intersection to the Tulsa intersection. Tulsa - from Putnam Intersection to Olive intersection Parking is available in the main parking lot of Granite Hills High School.
