Running o' the Path 2026 presented by Crete Community Runners Association

It's time to sham-rock-run! The Crete Community Runners Association is hosting our 3rd annual St. Patrick's themed fun run - the Running o' the Path! In conjunction with the Crete Park District , we will be running and walking the beautiful Crete Bike Trail! The path is approximately 2.7 miles - just under a 5k. We will begin the race at Lions Park and make our way down the trail and back. NEW this year, we have a timer! Feel free to run, jog or walk at your own pace. Watch for surprises along the trail...you just might spot a leprechaun! This is a FREE community event for all ages and paces. The CCRA will be collecting donations that will allow us to continue to provide FREE events to Crete and surrounding residents! T-shirts are available for purchase ! This event is RAIN or SHINE!
