Sea Isle City Beach Patrol Mile Ocean Swim

The race will be started at 11:00 AM, rain or shine, on Saturday, July 18th, 2026. An electrical storm or dangerous surf conditions will necessitate resetting the start time until later in the day. If conditions do not improve, the swim will be cancelled. Weather cancellations will be announced on the home page of the beach patrol's website. Additionally, an announcement will be made on the beach patrol's Facebook (Sea Isle City Beach Patrol) and Instagram (@SICBP44) accounts. ENTRY FEE Individual pre-registration: $30.00 / Team pre-registration $35.00 - closes Thursday, July 16 at 11:00 PM. Race day individual registration: $40.00 / Race day team registration $45.00 - Saturday, July 18 between 9:00 and 10:30 AM. Please note: We accept cash or Venmo payments on race day. No checks or credit cards. THERE IS NO MAIL-IN REGISTRATION. Entry fees are non-refundable. This is true even in the event of race cancellation. RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND RACE PACKET PICK-UP Race day Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM at Sea Isle City Beach Patrol Headquarters - 44th Street and Promenade. Please allow additional driving time for the increase of traffic on the weekend. RACE FEATURES Chip timing. Wet suits are permitted regardless of the water's temperature. The start of the race will be in two waves; one male, one female and non-binary. Public parking available at: 300 JFK Boulevard, 125 JFK Boulevard, 4501 Park Avenue, and 4416 Landis Avenue. All locations are in Sea Isle City, NJ 08243 Bus transportation to the start of race is available at 10:00, 10:20, and 10:40 AM. Transportation of gear from start to finish line.
