!!!ALL DOG & CAT LOVERS, JOIN PAWS!!! Soles 4 Paws 5k Saturday September 26, 2026 at 8am Carthage Municipal Park Net proceeds go to Carthage Humane Society Run or walk the 5K or the 1K with or without your dog or cat. Non-retractable leashes only. 1K starts at 8am; 5K starts after the 1K finishes, about 8:30am. 5K Solo Run/Walk: Finisher awards for all participants. Awards to top male and female, age group winners. 5K-with-Pet: Finisher awards for all participants. Top-3 Handler/Dog teams awards 1K Run/Walk: Dog tags for all furry finishers. Electronic bib and timing for 5K only (no chip timing for 1K). Participants can sign up either for the 5K Solo run or for the 5K Canine run. Both races will be held concurrently with a few minutes delay between both to provide safe running conditions for all. Baby joggers/strollers welcome. 5K is USATF-Certified course. Race-tech shirts optional while registering online; guaranteed delivery on race day if ordered by Sep 20.
