South Portland Food Cupboard - St. Max 5K Run/Walk Road Race

Day of registration starts at 7:30am.....Thank you so much for your support!!!!! 8/13/25 UPDATE: State Farm Insurance will have a table set-up at the race for people to donate canned goods and nonperishable food to the Food Cupboard. Bring some canned goods for the Food Cupboard and receive $5 off the Day-of race registration fee. This year the 15th Annual South Portland Food Cupboard and St. Maximilian Kolbe 5K Road Race and Free Kids Fun Run will be on Saturday August 23, 2025. Over the years, this race has raised thousands of dollars for the Food Cupboard which feeds hundreds of families in South Portland and Scarborough. Last year, the race raised $10,000 for the Food Cupboard which helped in providing over 400 families with food for a whole month! Our goal is to raise the same amount or more to help the Food Cupboard. THE FOOD CUPBOARD NEEDS YOU TO SIGN-UP AND RUN THE RACE!!! All entry fees will go directly to the Food Cupboard. This is a wonderful cause to support and have fun running with us on Saturday August 23, 2025. The entry fee of $30 will buy enough food to feed a family for one month!!! ************************* SAME RACECOURSE AS LAST YEAR *************************** The race will occur on Saturday August 23, 2025, at St. Max Church (150 Black Point Road in Scarborough Maine). The kid's fun-run will start at 8:30am and the 5K Run/Walk will start at 9am. Online race registration starts April 22nd and race day registration will start at 7:30am on August 23rd. Prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd male and female finishers on August 23rd after the race. Medals will be awarded to male and female age group winners.
