Join the Michigan Trail Experience for the second Spring Trail Trot . This year the run will take place at Lake Lansing North. This will be a great race for new trail runners and hikers. It is a flat well marked course. All entries will receive a T-Shirt, sticker, and finisher patch. Look forward to seeing you. This is a pet friendly event. Start Time: 9 AM Entry Fee: $30 until April 3th guaranteed T-shirt. $35 from April 4th to April 11th limited T-shirts. Entry Fee 18 and under: $20 until April 3th $25 from April 4th to April 11th. Packet Pickup: Race morning at the Baseball field starting at 7:30 am Race Swag! : All entries will receive a Spring Trail Trot T-shirt, a sticker, and Finisher patch. Results: Your results will be chip timed with live results Awards: Overall male and female finisher will receive a Spring trail trot pint glass and $25 gift certificate from Playmakers. First, Second and Third place in each age group will be given a Spring Trail trot pint glass. Age groups for women and men are the following: 15 and under, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over. The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation . Results will be available live during the race.

Enter the park on Lake Dr. and follow the signs. Please note there is a vehicle entrance fee at Lake Lansing Park-North. $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents. Packet pickup will be held at the Sand Hill Shelter. The race will start and finish near the baseball field.

A 5k loop around Lake Lansing North. This is a flat, well-marked course great for 1st time trail runners or hikers. The race will start and finish near the baseball field. This course uses mostly the blue trail, with a couple of small modifications.
