Since 1980, The Walleye Run / Walk has been a part of the annual Walleye Weekend Festival at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, WI. COME TO RUN OR WALK. A high quality 5 mile run through Lakeside Park and the old UW FDL Campus area, or if you prefer, a 2-mile run through Lakeside Park. For the younger runners, we offer a 1 mile novice run for children ages 12 and under and 1/3 mile runs for the running tots ages 6 and under. For the walkers we offer a 3-mile recreational family walk through scenic Lakeside Park.

On Friday, June 12 pre-registered participants may pick up their packets at Woodworth Middle School from 2:30 - 6 p.m. Participants can enter the building on the North end. Participants can also pick up packets for other family members and friends. Regular registration for all events will also be available at this time. All participants who register by June 8, 2026, are guaranteed a T-shirt. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after this date and may be limited or unavailable at early packet
