Sunrise Stampede

The Sunrise Stampede 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is a community celebration that brings together neighbors, schools, students, families, educators, local businesses, and supporters from across St. Vrain Valley. Whether you run, walk, cheer from the sidelines, or volunteer, your participation helps strengthen our community and support local students and teachers. Join us in continuing this fun, back-to-school tradition! Event Schedule: 7:00 am – Check-In & Race Day Registration Opens 7:00–7:50 am – Sponsor Alley & Pre-Race Activities 8:00 am – 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Begins 8:30 am – 5K Race Begins 9:15 am – Awards Ceremony & School Spirit Recognition Schedule subject to change. Ways to Participate: Run or Walk Whether you’re a competitive runner, casual walker, student, parent, teacher, or community supporter, there’s a place for everyone at the Sunrise Stampede. 5K Run – Timed race with awards by age category 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk – Perfect for families, kids, and all ability levels School Spirit Challenge – The SVVSD school with the most participants wins a trophy and a $500 cash prize Volunteer Not a runner? You can still be part of the fun by volunteering to help with registration, course support, sponsor activities, setup, and more.
