Sweet Owen Day 5K Fun Run/Walk

Join us for our Annual 5K that kicks off the day-long Sweet Owen Day Festival on Saturday, September 19th in Owenton, Kentucky! RACE FEATURES: Closed course on paved roads through the heart of Owenton, Kentucky Commemorative race T-shirts for 5K participants only Overall Awards for Top 3 M/F and First Place M/F in Age Groups (14 and under, 15-29, 30-49, 50-64, 65+) 5K Run/Walk, 2K Run/Walk & Fastest Kid in Town race Music, food, fun & fellowship Convenient Race Day packet pickup available PACKET PICKUP --- Our plan is hold packet pickup on race morning (Saturday, September 19th) from 7:00-7:45am at the back of the Courthouse FASTEST KID IN TOWN --- This is a new FREE Kid's Dash (9 and under) where we'll crown a Fastest Kid in Town. All kids are welcomed but we do ask that you register your child so we have a good idea of our number of kids. The race will be a 75 yard dash. Parents can purchase a commemorative race T-shirt (Youth S, M, L or Adult sizes) for a $10 add on. The Kid's Dash will take place at 9:00am after the 5K has concluded.
