2026 Machias Blueberry 5-Mile Run/Walk & 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center is proud to sponsor the 2026 Machias Blueberry 5-Mile Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk. Join us as we raise funds to support the Down East Cancer Patient Navigation Program, which provides compassionate, effective support for individuals facing cancer. Through this program, patients receive assistance accessing treatment, resources, and services throughout their cancer journey. Additional donations are greatly appreciated. All donations are tax-deductible. Packet Pickup Participants who pre-register may pick up their race packets at: Machias Valley Christian School Parking Lot (former Machias Town Office) 118 Court Street, Machias, Maine Friday, August 14, 2026 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2026 Beginning at 6:00 AM and closing promptly at 7:00 AM Race Day Information Race-day registration will be held at the Machias Valley Christian School Parking Lot, 118 Court Street, Machias, Maine, beginning at 6:00 AM and closing promptly at 7:00 AM. PLEASE NOTE: Packet pickup and registration close at 7:00 AM SHARP on race day. No exceptions can be made due to race timing, safety, and volunteer requirements. 5-Mile Run/Walk: Starts promptly at 8:00 AM 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk: Begins immediately following the start of the 5-mile race Awards will be presented following the race in the Machias Valley Christian School parking lot.
