At 40 years old, I’ve decided not to slow down — I’ve decided to test the limits of who I can become. This September, I will take on the legendary Tuscazoar 100 — a brutal 100-mile endurance race through the unforgiving hills, trails, darkness, pain, and beauty of Dover, Ohio. But this race is about far more than miles. This run represents every challenge that has shaped my life: 9 years as a Amphibious Reconnaissance Marine in the United States Marine Corps The battles veterans face after service The long nights The setbacks The injuries The moments where quitting would’ve been easier Turning 40 is not my finish line. It’s a new starting point. Every step of this race will be dedicated to supporting Semper Fi & America's Fund — an organization that has changed the lives of wounded veterans, service members, and military families, including mine. They continue to provide hope, resources, recovery, and community to those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Over 100 miles, there will be moments where my body wants to stop. But this mission is bigger than discomfort. I’ll be running for the veterans still fighting battles nobody sees. For the families carrying invisible weight. For resilience. For purpose. For brotherhood. For the reminder that we are capable of more than we believe. This isn’t just a race. It’s a celebration of life, service, grit, and the opportunity to give back. If you’d like to support the mission, encourage the journey, or donate to Semper Fi & America's Fund, I’d be incredibly grateful. 100 miles. One mission. No quit.
