Help celebrate Veterans Day with a 5K, 10K or 15K event honoring those who have served our country. Both events will be held at English Landing Park in Parkville and participants will receive a custom finishers medal and top finishers will compete for age group and overall awards. Registrants can add a race shirt for an additional fee. This race is being run in honor of long time area runner, World War II veteran, and VFW employee, Ed Burnham, and a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the VFW Foundation in his honor. Awards will be given to the Top Overall Male Finisher, the Top Overall Female Finisher, the Fastest Masters Male Finisher and the Fastest Masters Female Finisher in both the 5K and the 10K, together with the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and over.

Packet pickup will be on Friday, November 7 from 2-6pm at The Running Well Store on Barry Road in the Northland. You can also pick up for a friend or family member.
