Viva Color Fun Run

Get Ready to Paint the Town (Literally)! The Viva Color Fun Run is a unique event that celebrates joy and community and is family-friendly. It is a one-mile route where participants can walk, run, or jog while being doused from head to toe in different colored powder along the course. Participants wear white at the starting line and finish the race covered in color. Once the race is over, the fun continues as a larger-than-life party equipped with music, dancing, photo ops, snacks, and more massive color throws. This fun run is great for all ages, including kids and families. Trust us, this is the best post-Viva Color Fun Run party in the area! The Viva Color Fun Run is Italian-themed because it is a fundraising event of The San Rocco Foundation Celebration. The San Rocco Foundation’s focus is community aid, education, and cultural exchange. This celebration has welcomed those from all around the region to partake in this rich local history...keeping traditions alive for 100 years and counting! SAFETY The colored powder is from Color Blaze, which makes their powder from cornstarch (ingredients are food-grade cornstarch and FDA and FD&C-approved Food & Cosmetic dyes). The color powder is non-toxic, natural, and biodegradable - Making it safe for the environment and participants. Runners can wear glasses or goggles to protect their eyes; bandanas or dust masks for their mouths. The powder is very easy to clean up with soap and water. NO Bikes, Rollerblades, Hoverboards, Scooters & Wagons: Due to safety concerns, only baby strollers/joggers and wheelchairs are allowed on the course.
