Get ready for an AMAZING walk/run event brought to you by your own Fulton County Youth Advisory Council (YAC)! YAC is a group of high schoolers from all over Fulton County who are passionate about making our community better! Want to know more about us? Click here. In addition to the timed 5K and an untimed 1 mile walk/run (open to ages 5 and up), we want to invite all community members to join us to participate in FREE family friendly games and activities, as well as community resource tables. Why should you join this awesome event? It's all about CONNECTION! We're bringing young people together with each other AND with adults who care about them. Mental health is a BIG DEAL for young people today, and we want everyone to know they're not alone and that help is out there! We believe that by sharing support and resources, building connections, and fighting isolation, we can boost mental health for ALL Fulton County youth! Race Rules and Reminders: Pre-run activities will begin at 1:00 PM - Packet pick up will begin at 2:00 PM - Race will begin at 3:00 PM There has been a change in rules: Strollers for the 1 mile walk/run participants are welcome but should start towards the rear of the group to avoid trip hazards for any competitive runners. Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted at the event. Children ages 5 through 10 must be physically accompanied by an adult during the event. Please note that colored corn starch will be thrown during the walk/run event and it is a potential irritant to eyes, noses, lungs and respiratory system.
