WVS Winter's End 4.5 Mile Run

Join us on March 22, 2026 for our Winter’s End 4.5 Mile Run and say goodbye to winter as we kick off the spring running season together! Registration Pre-entry fee: WVS members $20, non-members $25 Price increases 3/1/26: WVS members $25, non-members $30 WVS members were emailed the discount code in the November and February newsletters. (Our race discount codes are for current members of the WVS and should not be shared.) Non-members can purchase for $12 a membership in the store and then receive an email reply with the race discount code to use during race registration. Runners must pre-register online. Race day entries will not be accepted. Online registration will close Friday, March 20, 2026 at noon. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Race Day Pre-entry packet pick-up will begin at 9:30 am at Penn State Wilkes-Barre in the Commons on campus. The first 200 participants will receive a commemorative gaiter. Start Race start is at 11:00 am. Race will be chip timed. Course Our race features a scenic rolling hills 4.5 mile course in the Lehman area near Penn State, Wilkes-Barre. Note If the race is cancelled due to any directives by the hosted facility, or the WVS, 2026 pre-entries will be deferred to next year. No refunds will be given. This race is open to anyone. You do not need to be a WVS member to run. You can however become a member or renew your membership during the checkout process. Online memberships are $12 per year. Membership cards are sent within a week of receipt or given race day if received 14 days prior to event or not yet expired. Non-members can purchase for $12 a membership in the store and then receive an email reply with the race discount code to use during race registration. The race directors reserve the right to accept or reject any entry.
