Yellowstone Independence Day 5k 2027

RACE DAY: July 4th 2027 at 8 am in Livingston MT, the Yellowstone Running Club brings you the 4th annual "Yellowstone Independence Day 5k" run/walk fundraiser! In 2026 we had record entries and we are ready to do it again and hope you will join us! Enjoy a beautiful river and tree lined route, chip timing, and lots of raffle prizes and fun fun fun! Special finisher giveaway to be announced soon! Location: Sacajawea Park, Livingston MT Event: July 4, 2027 - 8 am Race starts at the historic Sacajawea Park located next to the Yellowstone River in Livingston, MT. The third annual Yellowstone Independence Day 5k fun run/walk promises to be bigger and better than ever! All proceeds to benefit the Yellowstone Running Club mission to support wellness through running/walking and the greater Park County youth cross country team attendance at regional championship races. Race Giveaway: We are working on the 2027 race giveaway and will announce what this will be soon! Awards: Top 3 male and 3 female finisher medals to be awarded in each age group (tbd). Wear your most patriotic attire and decorate your strollers for a chance to win a special prize. All runners will be entered in for fun raffle prizes and snacks will be provided post race! Timing: This race will be chip timed compliments of Muddy Dog Sports! Speaking of muddy dogs...we love dogs and we love running with our furry friends. However, dogs are not allowed in Sacajawea Park per the City of Livingston. Start Time: 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. Online registration is preferred but onsite registration is available 7:15-7:45 at the start line (payment by cash, paypal or check). Sign up in advance by June 30 and save money! Price increases to $40 starting July 1, 2027. Kids prices do not increase. Bib Pickup: Friday July 3, 2027 evening pickup time to be annouced Saturday July 4 7:15 a.m.-7:45 a.m. on at Sacajawea Park New Picnic Shelter on the NORTH side of the park.
